Middle School Technology Teacher

Ben Lippen Middle School

Responsible for teaching technology classes to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students at Ben Lippen Middle School.


Teach Technology classes, three sections at each grade level.  Collaborate with other members of the Technology department to continually revise and develop the Technology curriculum at Ben Lippen School. Collaborate with middle school faculty regarding technology integration. Perform any other non-teaching duties as assigned by the middle school principal.  Facilitate student growth through character formation, content mastery and ministry.


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field (an advanced degree is preferred).  Content mastery of God’s Word. ACSI teacher certification.  Recommended, two years of successful teaching experience in middle school.

Called to the ministry of teaching middle school students. Demonstrated ability to engage students through teaching that is relational and relevant. Demonstrated ability and familiarity, with Apple products (laptops/iPads). Demonstrated ability and desire to innovatively and appropriately bring technologies (including the iPad) into the classroom in order to support student learning.
