ENG3410-01-SP13 Shakespeare

Shakespeare is the most influential author in English literature. His plays continue to provide a popular living link to the past. In this survey you will study a selection (usually five) of his comedies, histories, and tragedies. You will also be introduced to a selection of his sonnets. We will give particular attention to the distinctive features of Shakespeare’s art and how his themes relate to a biblical worldview. (3) Prerequisite: ENG 1111
