Fall 2011 Tuition Refund Schedule

Undergraduate, Graduate, & Seminary

  • Drop / Add ends at noon on August 30
  • 90% refund ends 5 pm September 1
  • 50% refund ends 5 pm September 15
  • 25% refund ends 5 pm October 13
  • Last day to withdraw with a "W" ends 5 pm October 13

Payment options / Payment plan

After registering for your course you may pay online using a major credit card by going to Student Accounting on CIU Online. You may also make arrangements with the Accounting Office at (803) 807-5055 to make payment of the full amount or to set up a payment plan. Failure to pay for your course by the end of drop/add will result in disenrollment in the course.

Financial Aid

Students taking online courses may be eligible for financial aid if they are enrolled in a degree program at CIU. Students who are eligible may receive Federal and State funds. Students who wish to receive aid must complete the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  All online courses qualify for military Tuition Assistance and Veteran's Benefits. Guest rate:  A special Guest rate is available to students not seeking a degree.  It is only available for the first 12 semester hours of course study.
