Master of Arts in Youth Ministry Leadership


The M.A. in Youth Ministry Leadership provides you with specialized knowledge and skills to reach the next generation by evangelizing and discipling youth and their families through the power of Jesus Christ and to equip others for youth ministry.


This program will equip you to:

  • Analyze and address current trends in adolescent culture

  • Develop and implement biblically-based strategies for youth ministry

  • Plan, lead, and evaluate ministry activities for youth and their families


Potential ministry opportunities for program graduates include:

  • Serving as a church youth pastor

  • Serving as a member of campus ministry team

  • Serving as a camp or retreat worker

  • Serving as a member of a wilderness or adventure education ministry

  • Ministering to at-risk youth
