Business & Organizational Leadership

Why study Business & Organizational Leadership at CIU?

Dr. Benjamin Dean, the director of the Business & Organizational Leadership program answers the question this way:

“I want students to see that our Creator has put within them unique gifts and talents, and that there is a God-infused value, dignity, and sacredness about each of the vocations and professions.”

The Business & Organizational Leadership program equips you with business and cross-cultural leadership skills imperative for success in our globalized economy. Plus, the courses are taught from an ethical and values-based perspective – something the world could use, right?

And you ought to see Dr. Dean’s resume! His experience includes working at for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, military officer, a lawyer in the private sector and in the administration of President George H.W. Bush, and serving as an administrator at the missions agency Pioneers USA. You’ll be taught by someone who has been where you want to be.

Your Future

The Business & Organizational Leadership program prepares you for traditional marketplace careers in the United States and abroad, positions in church and para-church organizations and for occupations in non-profit and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), nationally and around the world.
