Online and Distance Education
Columbia International University offers individual online courses for our Undergraduate and Graduate Schools. The Seminary & School of Missions offers both individual courses and degree programs through a combination of online courses and concentrated classroom experiences.
CIU's online courses are flexible, biblically-based, accredited courses that can be taken from anywhere in the world. Courses can be applied toward a certificate or degree, or taken for personal enrichment.

Seminary Degree Options
AccessCIU is designed to help students pursue their seminary education while remaining in their current ministry or occupation. Through AccessCIU, CIU Seminary & School of Missions offers students both individual online courses and the opportunity to earn a degree using a combination of "high tech" online courses and "high touch" concentrated classroom experiences.
CIU Seminary & School of Missions makes it possible to earn any of the following degrees by spending a maximum of four weeks each year away from home:
Biblical Ministry Certificate
Master of Arts (Theological Studies)
Master of Divinity (Ministry Leadership)

When registering for an online course, look for an "O" immediately after the course number (Ex. BIB5112 O 01 or EDU5330 O 01). All other courses require classroom attendance.
