Master of Arts (Theological Studies)

Perhaps you believe that God is calling you to a world changing ministry which requires more than a single year of preparation.

The Master of Arts (Theological Studies) will give you a solid foundation in the traditional Christian heritage disciplines—Bible, history, theology, and missiology—while allowing you to build in subject areas appropriate to your individual ministry needs.

As the Biblical Ministry Certificate can serve as a step to the Master of Arts, so the M.A. can—if you choose your free electives carefully—serve as a step to the Master of Divinity.

The Master of Arts (Theological Studies) offers the student flexibility to design a program of study that will be built on the foundation of the ethos core courses.

Future Opportunities

Church, Mission, and Parachurch Ministry: The M.A. provides preparation in Bible, church history, theology, and missiology for church, mission, and parachurch ministries which require advanced study in those areas.

Teaching Ministry: The M.A. can prepare the student who makes wise use of his/her electives to teach in churches, in Christian schools, and in Bible institutes both in the USA and abroad.

Personal Enrichment: The M.A. is particularly appropriate for the student who wants to pursue advanced study of the Bible, church history, theology, and missiology.
