Master of Divinity

If you believe that God has called you to a leadership role in changing the world, the Master of Divinity degree is for you.

It is designed to lay a solid biblical, theological, and historical foundation for ministry, to provide preparation in the essential skills needed for ministry, and to build in subject areas which will enable you to minister effectively in your target culture.

The Master of Divinity is the degree of choice for men and women who have seen the need, responded to God's call, and are intent on changing the world for His glory.

Future Opportunites

Church Ministry: The Master of Divinity is the degree most frequently associated with the role of pastor or assistant/associate pastor. For many denominations it is a requirement for ordination.

Missions Ministry: For men and women who will be assuming leadership roles on the mission field, the Master of Divinity is the preferred degree. A person who envisions him/herself functioning as a team leader should consider this degree.

Parachurch Ministry: Men and women who are pursuing ministries which combine pastoral and teaching roles will benefit from the Master of Divinity degree. Graduates are equipped to serve in such ministries as church planting, campus ministry, and the chaplaincy.
