Minor - Business & Organizational Leadership

Description

Business and Organizational Leadership is a new discipline unfolding at Columbia International University (CIU) at the undergraduate level. During 2008, CIU is starting a minor in business and organizational leadership. A professional major within the field may be launched at a later date pending various approvals. The curricular design is rooted in a competency-based understanding of the business disciplines. A network of professionals, working in close collaboration with the program faculty, will ensure the relevancy of the business education program for the marketplace. This program prepares graduates to serve in business settings with sound leadership, management, and ethical business skills (human resource management, finance, accounting, marketing, etc.).
