Minor - International Community Development

Description

For students interested in international community development work, to expose them to introductory level training via
the HEART (Hunger Education And Resource Training) Institute in Lakes Wales, Florida. To gain basic competency for living and teaching others how to live in under-devloped, needy societies (whether in urban or rural settings).

The HEART Institute offers the following courses to a cohort of students from a variety of schools participating through articulation agreements. The HEART Institute is affiliated with, and located adjacent to Warner Southern College in Lake Wales, Florida. CIU students selected to participate in the program will be under the faculty supervision of Dr. Kevin McWilliams.
