B.A., Western Kentucky University; M.Div., Ph.D., The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary 

Dr. Matthew Haste joined the faculty of CIU’s Seminary and School of Ministry in 2015. He oversees the 5-year B.A./M.Div. Program and teaches various courses. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society and a Fellow of the Andrew Fuller Center for Baptist Studies. Before coming to Columbia, Dr. Haste served as a College Minister and Adult Discipleship Pastor in Kentucky and taught at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Western Kentucky University. He is married to Cheyenne and they have three children: Haddon, Anna, and Adelyn.
