Dr. Parshall has been a missionary in Bangladesh for 21 years; Field Director for most of those years; Founder of the Bangladesh Bible Correspondence School; Founder of an annual spiritual life conference for missionaries in Bangladesh; Vice-president of the Bangladesh Bible Society; member of the International Council and Executive Committee of International Christian Fellowship, and Interim Home Director of I.C.F. (1979-1980). Additionally, he has served among Muslims in the Philippines with SIM for almost 20 years, as Director of the Asian Research Center. He has authored nine books on Islam.
