Paul's letter to the Romans is the most comprehensive and systematic discussion of the gospel in the New Testament. The heart of that discussion is Romans 3:21-8:39. In those chapters Paul addresses justification by faith, peace with God, identification with Christ, death to sin, life in the Spirit, and our victory in Christ. They are required reading for any serious Christian, and they deserve in-depth study if we are to understand their practical application to daily living.
