Pastor William Moore came to Columbia International University in April of 2021. Pastor Moore was born and raised in the low country of South Carolina. After graduating from college, he joined the US Army. While on active duty, he served as Food Service Specialist and Chaplain Assistant at Ft. Benning GA. (OJT) Pastor Moore became an Army Chaplain Candidate and graduated from the Army Chaplain School and Center at Ft Jackson, SC.  While in seminary, Pastor Moore served as the Senior Pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenwood, South Carolina. While there, he founded Diamonds, Inc., a nonprofit 501-c3, to educate and mentor at-risk kids, from single-family homes.  

Pastor Moore is a former educator for Dallas Independent School District in Dallas, TX, Universal Academy in Irving, TX, and the Dallas County Charter School for at-risk kids in Dallas, TX. He served as the Senior Chaplain of the Arkansas Department of Correction in Malvern AR, the Ouachita River Unit. While employed at the Arkansas Department of Correction,  Pastor Moore founded the  MAN-UP program (Men Achieving New Understanding and Purpose) and Anger Management classes for class 4 inmates. Pastor William Moore has been a licensed and ordained minister for 30 years.
