Ronald Kroll joined the CIU faculty in 2001, leading distance education at CIU for nine years before assuming the role of director of the Doctor of Education program in 2010. Dr. Kroll also serves as CIU's regional accreditation liaison. His background includes experience as a college faculty member and department chair, student services administrator, chief academic officer, accreditation board member and commissioner, and administrator at one of the pioneers of field-based doctoral education. He has three decades of experience in Christian ministry and higher education. A weekend carpenter and electrician, Ron always has a half-finished project around to keep him from hobbies in photography and model railroading. Ron and his wife Kathy have two adult children and are proud to call themselves grandparents.
