Facilities
The CIU athletic facilities include soccer/football and softball fields, as well as beach volleyball, game tables, hiking and biking trails, canoes, outdoor basketball and tennis courts and a fitness center.

Fall/Spring Semester Hours
Sunday: Closed
Monday-Thursday: 6:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Hours for Summer and Breaks
Sunday: Closed
Monday-Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m; 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m..
Saturday: 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Upcoming Schedule Changes/Closures
The Fitness Center will be closed Saturday, May 24th; Monday, May 26th (Memorial Day)' Saturday, June 14th, Friday, July 4th (Independence Day), and the evenings of Friday, July 18th and Saturday July 19th.
The Fitness Center will offer limited morning hours July 7th-11th and July 21st-25th. The Fitness Center will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on these dates. Evening hours will remain unaffected.

Intramural and City League Sports
CIU offers many different sports during the school year. Some of the sports that we play are intramural, in which teams are formed from within the student body. The Faculty and Staff even join in on the fun! We also participate in some city league sports, which is a great way to get into the community and build some friendships with people outside of CIU.
