Dear Prospective Student,
As a young adult, I came to the conclusion that there are only three things
that last forever: God, His Word, and the eternal souls of all human
beings. Because I wanted to dedicate my life to that which really endures
for eternity, I deliberately enrolled at CIU, because I knew it was a school
where I could learn to know God better, understand and interpret His Word
accurately, and become prepared to make a significant spiritual impact on
the lives of people. My educational experience at Columbia exceeded my expectations!
The fact that you are looking into this catalog tells me that you, too,
are serious about investing your life in a way that will best count for eternity.
The CIU community is a group of students and faculty who share a deep desire
to know God, grow in their likeness to Christ, and serve Him in their generation.
