STAFFORD EDUCATION LOANS
- Available only during terms (fall, spring, or summer) in which you are registered for six (6) or more credits. For most students the summer term will be the only one in which they are enrolled in enough credits to qualify for loan eligibility.
- FAFSA form must be completed as part of the aid application process. For the summer term, application should be made in early spring. Allow for an 8-week processing period.
- If you qualify for education loans, they may assist with tuition as well as travel and living expenses while you take classes on campus.

TUITION AND FEE INFORMATION
1. PAY-AS-YOU-GO PLAN.Students may elect to have tuition and fees charged each semester or term in which they register for courses. In this manner, charges would only accrue as courses are taken. Payment is due at the start of the semester or term. Tuition and fee amounts are subject to change in future years.

2. CONTRACT PLAN. Under the contract plan, the student's total program cost (tuition, registrations, graduation) will be calculated and divided into 48 equal monthly payments to be paid over four (4) years. The student will contract with CIU to remit monthly payments for four (4) years. If the student becomes "inactive" or "withdrawn," payments will be discontinued when accrued tuition and fees have been satisfied. If the student falls behind by the amount of two months' payments, then the student will be removed from the contract plan and will be charged at the non-discounted rate for each semester's courses.
