The courses of our HalfTime Package help you cultivate core values of the authority of Scripture (Hermeneutics: Interpreting and Applying the Bible), world evangelization (Understanding Cultures and Worldviews; Mobilizing Christians for Personal Evangelism), and victorious Christian living (Systematic Theology 2). They also give you the opportunity to evaluate your current involvement in ministry and develop a plan which has eternal significance (Foundations of Spiritual Development). Together, they enable you to set the stage for your "second half" ministry.

Once you have completed the HalfTime Package, you can conclude your studies, or you can complete five more courses and earn a Biblical Ministry Certificate—also without relocating. The ten courses of the Biblical Ministry Certificate have been designed in consultation with mission agencies, churches, and parachurch ministries to combine a solid overview of Bible and Theology with the core values set out above as a basis for any ministry assignment, from church leadership to missions.

The Biblical Ministry Certificate serves as the foundation in our building block approach to equipping for ministry. The thirty semester hours of the Biblical Ministry Certificate also comprise the first half of a Master of Arts degree and the first third of a Master of Divinity degree. So, if you choose, you can move directly from the Biblical Ministry Certificate to one of our fully accredited masters level degrees without missing a beat.
Both the Master of Arts and the Master of Divinity degrees can also be completed without relocating if you study through our Advancement In Ministry track, which combines one-week on-campus intensive courses with distance learning courses. Ask for more information, if you are interested.
