The Bible teaches that we will see the harvest when the laborers sow the seed and work the fields. Specifically, we are to "occupy" until He returns. Although many have come to know the Lord others have never heard. Jesus told the disciples that the fields were white, ready for harvest and the same holds true today. All over the world people are looking for salvation but are seeking it in traditions, things and people. Now is the time for the church to "go out and make disciples" of all nations.
