CIU International Alumni; Caring for Orphans, Exploring History

Two international alumni of Columbia International University are making an impact in two very different ways. The Rev. Matthew Sakeuh of Liberia, a 2002 graduate of the CIU Seminary & School of Missions is ministering to orphans in his native Liberia. His ministry caught the attention of the "Newberg Graphic" newspaper in Newberg, Ore. Meanwhile, Charlotte Harris Rees, a 1967 graduate of the CIU Undergraduate School, is addressing the question: Is there evidence that ancient America was discovered and colonized long before Christopher Columbus? She writes and speaks on the topic. Harris, who was born in China, was a recent guest speaker for the Renwen Society of China Institute in New York.
