CIU Alumna to Oversee Fundraising for Emergency Center

A 1982 graduate of Columbia International University is charged with raising nearly $1.5 in annual non-governmental funding at an emergency center in Pennsylvania. Linda Wasilchick, who earned a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from CIU, is the new vice president of resource and business development at the People’s Emergency Center in West Philadelphia.

With 20 years of experience in resource development and advancement, Wasilchick will also supervise a team of five fundraising and communications professionals.

The People’s Emergency Center nurtures families and strengthens neighborhoods through educational centers, parenting and early childhood education, life skills classes and technology coursework.
