CIU Alumnus Mending Shattered Lives
CIU alumnus and Providence Home Executive Director Rob Settle
Columbia International University alumnus Rob Settle oversees a haven for men with shattered lives. He is the executive director of Providence Home for men in Columbia, South Carolina. The mission of the ministry is simple:
"To help stabilize the living conditions of dislocated men and to encourage progress in realizing their full personal potential in self-sufficient living through the power of Jesus Christ."
Settle draws on his 17-years of experience as a pastor and his education from CIU where he earned a bachelor’s degree in CIU’s College of Arts & Sciences and a master’s degree in the CIU Seminary & School of Ministry. Settle is also a former administrator at Ben Lippen School, a Pre-K to 12th grade Christian school ministry of CIU.
The work of Providence Home caught the attention of Columbia Metropolitan magazine. Read about Settle and his ministry in the article: “Mending Lives.”
