CIU Alumnus Recognized for Engineering

Vaughn Walston

A Columbia International University alumnus has been recognized for his achievements in the field of engineering. Vaughn Walston was honored during the 28th Black Engineer of the Year Award STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Global Competitiveness Conference in Washington, D.C.  Feb. 6-8.

Walston graduated from CIU Seminary & School of Ministry in 2000 with a Master of Divinity degree in Intercultural Studies. He also holds an engineering degree from Virginia Tech. Walston is an engineering manager with Huntington Ingalls Industries in Newport News, Va.
