Columbia International University is honoring our nation’s military personnel with a special offer on CIU’s fully online business programs for working adults. President Mark Smith said “Military personnel are our heroes and CIU will honor their service in every way possible. This is the least we can do for our heroes.”

For a limited time military personnel, active duty, veterans and spouses pay an introductory price of only $250 per semester credit hour when they enroll in CIU’s Associate of Arts in Business, Bachelor of Science in Business or Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs.

Associate Provost for Online Studies, Dr. Brian Simmons, says CIU is making an affordable business degree available to people who are looking for upward mobility in their careers.

“We have a robust online set of business options for adults regardless of their current educational backgrounds,” Simmons said. “For a lot of people what is holding them back in advancement of their careers is a degree.”

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a 36-hour online graduate degree that can be completed in as little as 18 months. The Associate of Arts (AA) with a concentration in business is a 60-hour online undergraduate degree that can be completed in 30 months, and the Bachelor of Science (BS) with a business major is a 120-hour online undergraduate degree which after successful completion of the AA degree can be completed in an additional 24 months. 

Additionally, CIU Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing, Silvia Lucaschi-Decker says that by making the discount available, CIU is honoring those who are committed to protecting our nation through military service.

“We appreciate their bravery and service to the United States,” Lucaschi-Decker said. “We want to make sure that they have the opportunity to continue their education at an affordable price through the convenience of online learning.”
