CIU's low 17:1 student to professor ratio is among the factors considered by StateUniversity.com.

Columbia International University is #6 among South Carolina colleges and universities in the annual rankings published by the website StateUniversity.com.  That’s up one position from last year’s rankings.      

StateUniversity.com is a leading website for college and university information.  This is third year that the website has issued rankings for the Top 2,000 colleges and universities in the United States.  The StateUniversity.com ranking is based on statistical analysis and comparison of student/faculty ratio, student retention, test scores and other critical factors.

CIU’s total score in the rankings is 86.20 out of a possible 100. 

According to StateUniversity.com, their rankings are unique from other ranking organizations because they are based only on mathematical comparisons of key statistics without peer review feedback.
