Students studying Music at Columbia International University used their talents to spread messages of love on Valentine’s Day. Under the direction of Professor Becky Kilgus, the troubadours strolled from building to building across campus delivering songs to students, faculty and staff by request from one Valentine to another.

The $5 requests for “You Are My Sunshine” or “Stand by Me” were received in the days prior to Valentine’s Day and a schedule created for the singing deliveries. One staff member even had the singers deliver the message to his wife over the phone. Kilgus says proceeds from the requests will go toward new matching choir shirts for off-campus performances.
