Drug Addict to Church Planter

January 26, 2015

When people used to ask Ryan Streett his religion, he would respond, “heathenism, because I didn’t know God or really believed that He existed.” Streett was a drug addict who nearly died of a heroin overdose.

Today, he’s The Rev. Ryan Streett, pastor of Church of the Apostles in Newberry, South Carolina, a new church planted by Streett and The Anglican Church in North America.

Streett, who graduated from Columbia International University in 2013, was given an open opportunity to introduce himself and share about his life and his ministry in the Newberry Observer newspaper.
