How would you like to learn from one of the best minds in the business world? CIU business students had that opportunity recently.

James Morgan, the former CEO of Krispy Kreme, met with CIU business students for two hours at CIU’s John R. Cook Jr. Business & Entrepreneurship Center.

Morgan drew from his 40 years of business experience in discussing the attributes, qualities and characteristics of a good leader, as well as the lessons he learned from his time at Krispy Kreme. And of course, he brought doughnuts.

Morgan served as chairman of Krispy Kreme from 2005-2016 and as president and CEO from 2008-2014. Morgan is also a member of the CIU Board of Trustees.
