Media with Impact: Communication Students Complete Pro-Life Video

Professor Ken Rife with Linda Brown

Linda Brown discusses the seriousness of the Roe vs. Wade decision legalizing abortion.

A dramatic pro-life video produced by students in the Digital Media and Cinema program of Columbia International University is now being used by a local crisis pregnancy center.

Under the direction of their professor Ken Rife, the students assisted in the video for LaVie Pregnancy Care Center in Lexington, South Carolina. The video features LaVie Executive Director Linda Brown dropping BBs in jars representing the number of Americans killed in each war the United States has participated in since the Revolutionary War. But then she compares those numbers to the total number of abortions since 1972, and the jar representing abortions overflows.

Brown makes the presentation in person to churches and civic organizations, but she says because of the video the message can now be more widely shared.

Watch the video here. The students produced a second video for LaVie with a similar message.
