Son of CIU Alumni Couple Collecting Sox for Flood Victims
He’s a little guy trying to make a big difference. Max Ketcherside is only eight years old, but he understands many of the victims of the recent devastating floods in the Columbia area have a basic need: sox.
Max, the son of CIU alumni Joe (2011) and Chrissa (2006) Ketcherside, didn’t want birthday presents for himself on his eighth birthday, but instead is asking people to give him sox which he will donate to flood victims. His goal is to collect 1,000 pairs of sox.
Max’s outreach caught the attention of WLTX-TV in Columbia. See their report here.
