Transfer Student Scholarships

To be considered a transfer student you need to transfer at least 24 college credit hours. Transfer students may also be eligible for grants.  Students receiving a partnership discount are not eligible for additional aid from Columbia International University.

 

2014 - 15 CIU Merit Scholarships for transfer students:

CIU offers a variety of merit scholarships that range from $4,000 to $1,000. These merit scholarships are based on college GPA.

Church Matching Grant

Sponsored by a church or para-church

Submit a Church Matching Grant form and a check by  March 15

Match will be awarded as long as funds are available

Submit form and payment each year that the Church Matching grant is desired; the deadline is March 15 for the following academic year.

 

Submit FAFSA; not on Academic or Character probation; maintain GPA of 2.0+

Partners in Ministry Grant

Spouse of a full-time degree-seeking student; based upon availability of funds, and students receiving this grant are not eligible for any additional CIU aid.

Tuition for one class per semester  based on availability of funds

Submit FAFSA and PIM application by August 1

PIM Application

PIM will be awarded as long as funds are available.
