How many courses can I take without applying to a program?

Up to 12 credit hours may be taken by a student admitted as a Non-Degree Special Student. Individuals seeking to take credits without pursuing a program must complete the CIU application for admission and be admitted before registering for a course. NDSS applicants are not required to furnish the personal testimony or reference letters in the admissions process.
