(Curriculum and Instruction) concentration is designed to provide professional growth opportunities for

ducators. Students are prepared to assume leadership roles as master teacher, curriculum developer,

and instructional supervisor in Christian school settings.

The curriculum for this concentration provides opportunities to develop knowledge, skills and dispositions in

theory, instructional strategies, and supervision principles. A student may c

Individualized Concentration Courses

In lieu of the curriculum and instruction generalist concentration courses listed above, students may individualize

their concentration courses with electives to include specific areas of interest (e.g. early childhood, elementary or

secondary contents, TESOL, guidance, learning disabilities) with Columbia International University or transfer

courses. A year-round option may be available depending on the program track students should consult with their

advisor in planning their concentration for approved courses and scheduling.
