•
Prepare for effective service and leadership in sport management-related activities both in the United States as well
as in cross-cultural contexts
•
Gain insights into the major settings in which sport professionals work today in interscholastic, collegiate, amateur,
and professional settings
•
Lay a foundation for future educational and vocational opportunities
•
Develop a knowledge and understanding of personal physical health and wellness and the importance of this
lifestyle to the profession of Sport Management
Students in the major will engage in an internship in a facet of American sport as well as in a cross-cultural, sport-related
