MASTER OF EDUCATION

(EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION)

The Master of Education (Educational Administration) is designed to provide professional growth opportunities for Christian

educators in the field of Christian school educational leadership. Students are prepared to assume leadership roles in

Christian day, missionary, international, or national cross-cultural schools.

The curriculum for this concentration provides opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and dispositions in the broad

scope of Christian school administrative responsibilities. These responsibilities include leadership theory, school law,

financial principles, faculty and staff supervision, data–informed decision making, strategic planning, and development.

The

M.Ed

. (Educational Administration) is available fully online. Students should consult with the

M.Ed

. program director in

planning their degree program.

Suggested Program of Study

The total minimum number of semester hours to graduate is 33. The following program of study outlines a schedule for

fulfilling all of the requirements for the program within two years. Courses are generally offered on a two year rotation, and

students may enter in any semester and begin the course rotation. It is recommended that CHL 5001 Chapel be taken in

the first semester of enrollment.
