welcomed Jubilee Grace Christofi, 6 lbs.
4 oz., on May 21, 2016. They prayed for
her for seven years before God graciously
granted the desire of their hearts!
David (’05) and Emily (Former Staff)
Cetola moved their family to Forlì, Italy,
where they serve the Lord alongside
other co-workers in ministry.
Nathan (’12) and Ho
Su Ran Morris and their
two sons now live in Dublin, Georgia after
living in Korea. Nathan serves as an adult
literacy instructor with the Oconee Fall Line
Technical College, helping adults earn their
GED.
Cole Harper (’15) married Tori Steyne on Sept. 10, 2016. Tori
is the granddaughter of former CIU professor Phil Steyne.
Dorothy “Dot” Strickland (’15) is pursuing her
dream of working full time in camp ministry. She
lives in Cedarville, Michigan, where she serves
as the marketing and programing manager for
InterVarsity’s Cedar Campus.
Tim (’16) and Allie LaPointe and their
daughter Brooklyn moved to Monroe, North
Carolina where Tim began a new position
as a videographer with Chain Reaction
Studios, an agency that offers video
production, photography and web design.
The company works with churches in the
greater Charlotte area, promoting their
ministries.

Nichols welcomed their beautiful baby
boy, Asa on Dec. 2, 2016.

with her master’s degree in TEFL. She lives in
Baton Rouge, Louisiana, completing an ESL
internship and planning a wedding for August.

Lince Tjhin (’16), her husband Soeharno Yap,
and their four children live in Jakarta, Indonesia
where Lince works at IPEKA, a Christian
School. Lince received her Ed.S. degree in
December.
Hathaway “Hap” Struthers (Former Faculty) is now 88 and
entering into semi-retirement from Faith Bible College in
Norfolk, Virginia, a school he co-founded over 20 years ago. He
has also served as a pastor, Navy chaplain, and CIU professor/
dean.
