Chapel
Chapel services (Tuesday through Friday, 10:50 - 11:40 a.m.) provide opportunity for inspiration, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Undergraduate students enrolled for more than six credit hours are required to attend all chapels. Graduate and seminary students have requirements unique to their programs and should check with their advisors for details.
Six chapel absences are permitted each semester for undergraduate students. Students not present in chapel must be off campus or in their rooms in the residence halls. Studying around campus is not permitted during chapel. If you work during a chapel hour or do not have a class on a particular day, permanent chapel excuses may be requested via CIUOnline. All students are required to listen to every President's chapel, even if attendance is excused. Chapel messages can be heard via "chapel podcasts" at ciu.edu.
