Student Health Insurance
All students are required to have health insurance. You will be asked to provide proof of insurance coverage each semester (typically at, or prior to, registration). If you are covered by a guardian's or employer's plan, please verify your coverage will remain in effect while you are a student and that you will be covered in South Carolina. Each student should have a copy of his or her insurance card in case medical care is needed.
If you do not have coverage, you must enroll in the CIU-sponsored plan. Information about the plan can be seen by clicking on this icon or the link below.

Important Deadline for 2008-2009:
All students must enroll in the CIU plan or waive it because they have another insurance plan by the end of the registration period each semester. One of these options must be completed online at the Registration Check-in page. If you enroll for the insurance online, the cost of the insurance will be added to your fee statement. If you waive the student insurance, you must also provide a copy of your current insurance I.D. card to Health Services.
