Summer Housing

There is a $50 nonrefundable housing deposit that needs to be sent with course registration in order to secure housing. This deposit will be applied to your account when you arrive. There is also a $10 key deposit that will be refunded to you when you return your key at the end of your stay

Room rates are as follows:

No meals are included in the housing fees. The cafeteria will be open for lunches only Monday through Friday. During the weeks of June 18 - July 20, the cafeteria will also be open for dinner Monday through Thursday. You may pay directly at the checker's stand. If you have special circumstances or any questions regarding meals, you may call 803-807-5276 and ask for Jeff or Brian.

Linens are optional. If you choose to have linens supplied, there will be an additional $10 fee per week. Please indicate your request for linens on the registration form. We are required to reserve linen service in advance of the course start date and will be unable to provide linens if not requested at the time of registration. Residence rooms are equipped with individual telephone jacks. However, you will need to bring your own telephone and purchase your own long distance telephone card, as the phones are for local calls only.

Please note that there are limited facilities for families so you must indicate your plans to bring spouse and/or family on the registration form.

Check-in is 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. If you need to arrive earlier, please contact the Summer Housing Office to make arrangements. Students arriving by air should plan to rent a car or take a taxi from the airport to their motel. CIU is unable to provide airport shuttle service. Check-out is after your last class through Saturday 10 a.m.
