Technical Information and Help
Hardware Requirements:
Windows PC: Pentium system, 2 gigabytes of memory (RAM), broadband internet, 4X CD-ROM, sound card and speaker, Windows XP or higher.
Macintosh: 2 gigabytes of memory (RAM), 28.8 modem, 4X CD-ROM, Mac OSX or higher.
Internet Access Requirements:
You may use the Internet Service Provider (ISP) of your choice.
Software Requirements:
Word Processing: Microsoft Word 2003 or newer, or Open Office.
Virus Protection: Virus protection software must be purchased by students and upgraded regularly—Norton AntiVirus or MacAfee are two recommendations.
Sound Player Software: VLC Player or Windows MediaPlayer are both free for downloading.
Portable Document Format Reader: Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 or higher.
Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free download.
