Description

The Communication program at Columbia International University is designed to give students a major in Bible and a well-rounded, well-grounded education in communication. Our goal is to develop within each student the ability and desire to "Communicate Christ Creatively." Our courses do not focus only on one specific aspect of communication, rather they are broad-based and technology-oriented. You will take classes in communication theory, public speaking, radio broadcasting, web page development, video production, photography, leadership, management, media economics, writing for the media and history of media, to name a few. The program is specifically geared to combining the Bible major that all CIU students receive with the ability to communicate the truths of the gospel using today's technology. We are passionate about preparing students to fulfill our motto, "To Know Him, and To Make Him Known."
