1DEGREES OFFERED: CIU's Undergraduate College offers Associate of Arts (A.A.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees as well as an extensive Bible Certificate program.

FACULTY: There are 21 full-time college faculty members. Fifty-seven percent have terminal degrees reflecting over 450 years of college teaching experience and service in over 15 countries around the world.

ACADEMIC LIFE: The average admissions test score is 1110 (SAT) or 21 (ACT) with an incoming freshman class enrollment between 160 and 200 each year. Sixty-eight percent of our bachelor degree students graduate within six years. The average grade point average for undergraduate students is 3.23. The average graduating class is between 120 and 140.

COST: Our undergraduate college cost is approximately $2,300 below the average cost of independent colleges and universities in South Carolina.

FINANCIAL AID: CIU recognizes the tremendous pressure students and their families face in funding a college education today. Currently $1.5 million dollars of institutional aid is raised each year to help students afford college. Students also have access to federal, state and private aid through grants and loans which amounted to approximately $6.4 million dollars last year.

ACCREDITING AGENCIES: CIU's undergraduate college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, as well as the Association for Biblical Higher Education.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMS: Every program is designed to assist students in forming spiritual disciplines and a biblical concept of self and community, in knowing God's Word, in gaining understanding about God's creation through General Education studies, and in acquiring leadership competencies for ministry in the home, the church, and in vocational service. Every graduate completes at least one major: Bible. Most graduates complete two majors: one in Bible and another in a professional area of study.
