Youth Ministry Leadership

The M.Div. (Youth Ministry Leadership) provides you with specialized knowledge and skills to reach the next generation by evangelizing and discipling youth and their families through the power of Jesus Christ. It prepares you to serve as a youth worker in a church or para-church ministry or to equip others for youth ministry.

Objectives

This program will equip you to:

  • Analyze and address current trends in adolescent culture
  • Develop and implement biblically-based strategies for youth ministry
  • Plan, lead, and evaluate ministry activities for youth and their families
  • Use a variety of communication methods appropriate to youth and their families
  • Evangelize and disciple youth and their families graciously and effectively

  • Completed application
  • $25 application fee
  • Official transcripts for highest earned degree and any master’s degree work
  • Church leader reference
  • Application Essay (800 words total, typed)
  • Minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA
