“What a mighty power for missions and for soul-winning evangelism the school may be!! There is no limit to what our God is willing and able to do.”

Those are the words of R.C. McQuilkin, written 100 years ago as he accepted the call to be the first president of Columbia International University. And his words ring true down through the decades.

The highlights of the 100-year history of Columbia International University are recorded in an attractive coffee table book titled, “A Century of God’s Faithfulness” written by popular Christian author and 1974 CIU alumnus Robert J. Morgan, and Bob Holmes, CIU’s senior writer.

The book includes dozens of historic photos and the CIU story told from articles found deep in the CIU archives, through the cherished memories of CIU alumni, and from interviews with CIU presidents and professors who have lived out the CIU motto, “To Know Him and to Make Him Known.”
