CIU’s annual student celebration of fall had a little different “flavor” to it this year. It was a Fall Fiesta featuring Mexican food.

Students gathered at the Pavilion next to the CIU Lake to enjoy not only tacos, but traditional fall desserts such as fruit pies and fall activities that included pumpkin painting and a photo booth.

But the celebration would not have been memorable without the apple bobbing contest and line dancing.

Sophomore transfer student Jacob Sark was glad he came.

“As this is my first fall enrolled at CIU, it was great to get a taste of these fun gatherings, and I look forward to seeing what they have to offer in the future.”
