Dr. Jill McElheny discusses the calling of nurses as caregivers

Dr. Jill McElheny, the director of CIU’s new nursing program, describes how a calling as a caregiver will see a nurse through the toughest of times.

McElheny was a guest on the radio show “Hope for the Caregiver” heard nationwide on American Family Radio. It gave her the opportunity to discuss the type of students she is looking for in CIU’s online RN-BSN program that begins this January, and a proposed traditional four-year BSN program.

Listen to the program and hear McElheny’s heart for ministering to patients through medical expertise and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

With record enrollment for five straight years, CIU consistently ranks among the Top Regional Universities in the South by U.S. News & World Report, as well as a Best Value Regional University in the South. Request information on enrollment at CIU and Columbia Biblical Seminary or call (800) 777-2227, ext. 5024.
