The Columbia International University softball team turned a vision into reality. The Rams clinched their first region title in program history winning the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) South Region Championship on their home field, and punched their ticket to the NCCAA National Championship Tournament in Kansas City, Missouri beginning May 17.

Coach Sara Allen told Columbia TV station WACH FOX 57 that one of her goals for the inaugural team was to win a championship. Four seniors have been with the Rams since they took the field for the first time in 2019.
