The CIU volleyball team clinched their third consecutive Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) regular-season title as the Rams swept St. Andrews University (25-13, 25-10, 25-13). The Rams finish the regular season with an amazing 28-1 overall record and a 19-1 mark in the conference, giving CIU their best regular season win percentage in program history. The Rams receive a bid to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round for the third time after obtaining the top spot in the AAC standings.

Meanwhile, setter Kamelia De Jesus recorded her 4,000^th assist in the match. She had 22 assists for the evening, becoming the first CIU setter to reach the 4,000-assist mark.
