In April, I had the honor of taking the CIU Ambassador Choir on its first spring tour in nearly 30 years. The choir travelled for six days to minister in churches and schools in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Brooksville, and Orlando, Florida. 

Whether they were leading a worship service, recording in a beautiful stone cathedral, or singing under the baton of a sixth grade student conductor, the choir students sang with energy and passion.  

What is truly impressive about this group of students is their desire to worship Jesus in everything that they do. You can see it on their faces as they sing on stage, but even more impressive is the way in which they minister to one another. These students know that worship occurs in our daily steps and is often exhibited in our words and actions. 

To lead this group is an encouragement and a blessing. Touring with them was a daily reminder that whatever we do, we should work at it with all our heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, because we know that it is the Lord Christ we are serving!
